Last night Dublin was visited by Ghostpoet.
The UK based rapper is a rising star (he was recently selected as one of the artists of the year by Gilles Peterson – BBC Radio) and you could tell that easily. The gig at The Grand Social was a great success, with engenious beats and lyrics and a great guitarist. A truly inspired rapper which had a great stage presence and the crowd in his control. The rather short gig covered tunes from the new album “Ghostpoet – Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam” which is available in vinyl/cd from Brownswood Recordings.
